Gunflint Lodge & Outfitters provides 33 accommodations featuring fireplaces and hair dryers. Guests have entire cabins to themselves, sharing only with their party. All cabins are individually decorated and offer either a balcony or a patio, along with ceiling fans. Guests can use the in-room refrigerators, microwaves, and coffee/tea makers. Conveniences include coffee/tea makers and ceiling fans. Lakeside cabins have stone fireplaces in the living room and comfortable sleeping quarters furnished with queen and king-sized beds. Many cabins include private saunas, indoor spa tubs, or outdoor hot tubs, and a washer/dryer. Classic three-bedroom cabins have a fireplace, a private sauna, washer/dryer, and a full kitchen. The Five Bedroom Lake Home includes three full bathrooms, three queen beds, one bedroom with two twin beds, and one with bunk beds, along with a stone wood-burning fireplace, private in-cabin sauna, private patio, a full kitchen, a gas grill, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. The four-bedroom lake home has three bedrooms each with two queen beds and one bedroom with a king-sized bed, each with private bathrooms, and includes a large great room, a stone wood-burning fireplace, a private in-cabin sauna, an outdoor hot tub, a full kitchen, a gas grill, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. Some lake homes feature two bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, a stone gas fireplace and a private in-cabin sauna, a two-person whirlpool/hot tub, a dishwasher, and a washer/dryer. A lake home is available with a stone gas fireplace, a two-person jetted hot tub, a washer/dryer, a deluxe shower, and a full kitchen. Several villas provide a hot tub, sauna, and fireplace.

Guests enjoy the calling loons, the howling wolves, moose sightings, and fishing for walleye, smallmouth bass, and lake trout. You can hit the beach for motor boating or explore the area with swimming. Canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards, hiking trails and guided Naturalist activities are included with your stay. Daily guided naturalist activities feature kids fishing fun, making dream catchers, animal searches, and sunset cruises. Winter activities include many miles of groomed cross-country ski trails, snowshoeing, and dog sledding. Cross-country ski and snowshoe rental is available in the winter. Guests can also take time to pamper themselves with a visit to the full-service spa.
